There is a public hospital and 3 private clinics in Pau. Affiliation to the French Social Security system is compulsory for non European citizens even if they are already affiliated to a medical insurance company in their own country.
If you need insurance, we recommend you either subscribe through our agent herve.petit-brisson@gan.fr before leaving your country or you contact him once you arrive. Note that we can plan an appointment with him for you.

The Central Administration of ESC PAU Group will give you a certificate of enrollment upon your arrival, as this will be required
